Code of conduct

A good training environment is something we build together.

01 · On the mats

For members

Arrive ready to learn and help your training partners do the same.

  1. Be respectful

    Always show respect to others.

  2. Uniform requirements

    For Gi classes, adults wear a white gi of any brand; kids must wear a Bora gi. Keep it clean, in good condition, and wash it after every use. Wear a rash guard or T-shirt under the gi top. There is no No-Gi uniform policy.

  3. Health & hygiene

    Stay clean. Trim nails. Remove makeup, jewelry, and piercings. Stay home if you feel unwell. Report injuries or skin issues to an instructor.

  4. Late arrivals

    Punctuality shows respect—do your best to be on time. If late, wait off the mat until you’re invited to join.

  5. Parental responsibility

    Ensure your child understands and follows these rules.

02 · Alongside the mats

For spectators

Support the students and help keep the academy focused.

Parents can sit by the blue mats. The gray-mat area has no indoor waiting or viewing space; parents usually watch from outside through the large front window.

  1. No coaching

    Allow students to grow independently under the guidance of their instructors.

  2. Quiet during class

    Keep noise to a minimum to help maintain a distraction-free, focused training environment.

  3. No filming

    Recording is not permitted without prior approval.

  4. No food

    Food is prohibited inside the academy during class times.

  5. Supervise children

    Ensure children are seated and do not disrupt the class.
